Elevating The Resident Experience: Castle Group and Valencia Reserve Celebrate the Grand Reopening of the Renewed 41,000 SF Clubhouse
February 5, 2026
Castle Group, the premier choice for community management, proudly celebrates the grand reopening of the fully renovated 41,000-square-foot clubhouse at Valencia Reserve. This milestone marks the culmination of a multi-year partnership between Castle Group, the Valencia Reserve Board of Directors, and the community’s dedicated management team, showcasing a shared commitment to enhancing resident lifestyle and delivering exceptional project execution.
Backed by 84% resident approval for a $9.3 million investment, including $8.3 million funded through a membership special assessment, the project is a testament to community alignment, thoughtful planning, and trusted leadership.
The renovation, completed in just over a year and delivered under budget, modernized every inch of the clubhouse while enhancing functionality, comfort, and technology. Improvements included:
Modernized Interiors and Expanded Amenities
- New flooring, fixtures, furniture, and décor throughout.
- Expanded café interior and new screened-in gazebo.
- Resort-style open space created by removing the interior pool fence.
- A new Lounge featuring large-format TVs, a wet bar, and a gathering space.
Technology & Performance Enhancements
- Advanced A/V infrastructure in the Social Hall, including three LED wall screens and upgraded sound attenuation.
- A modern conference room equipped for remote meetings.
Fitness & Recreation Upgrades
- Fully renovated fitness center with new equipment.
- Enclosure of the former open-air fitness hallway.
- Relocation of the billiard room and library for improved facility flow.
Food & Beverage Enhancements
- Complete renovation of the café kitchen and prep kitchen.
- Relocation of the walk-in refrigerator/freezer to maximize kitchen efficiency
Exterior Beautification
- Redesigned landscape at the clubhouse entrance.
- New pavers installed in the porte-cochere.
To ensure the clubhouse programming continued uninterrupted, Valencia Reserve established two fully air-conditioned, Wi-Fi–enabled temporary facilities. These tents comfortably accommodated:
- Café operations led by Flakowitz Deli
- Group exercise classes and aerobics
- Club, committee, and Board meetings
- Card play and resident gatherings
An on-site cooking trailer further supported café service. Residents consistently expressed appreciation for the temporary accommodations, which exceeded expectations and preserved community engagement throughout construction.
On Sunday, December 21, more than 1,500 residents enjoyed a memorable evening marking the official grand reopening. Highlights included:
- Ribbon-cutting ceremony on a professional event stage
- Champagne toast
- Catering by Chez Gourmet
- Live entertainment throughout the clubhouse and pool deck
- Trolley transportation from pod entrances
- Professional videography and photography capturing the celebration.
This renovation reflects the dedication of the Valencia Reserve on‑site team and board members.
